Emma has begun to walk, 5-6 steps at the time. She still knows she can get there faster if she crawls. All in due time I guess!

In reply to Bertha's blog, does this mean that Sherlon is now coherent and able to communicate with family? Do we have an address for Sherlon? Also congratulations to Amber and Jason on a great job. Go, Robins! Keep up the good work!! Tell us more.

Actually Jeremy's pre-op is tomorrow. His surgery isn't until next Tuesday, 5/20.

Jeremy (Cathy's husband) is having surgery on Wednesday, the 14th, for removal of nose polyps.Please remember them in your prayers.

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers out there. We had a great time at the Blanchards today, filled with good fun, good fellowship and good food. In attendance was Cecil & Joan, Aloise & Doris, Ed & Joyce, Bertha & Ricky, Dianne & Parker, Dean, Christie? & Alex, Cathy & Jeremy, Terri, Ben, Hannah, Jason, Amber & Clay and Ashley. We also have a visit from Daisy. Bertha & Ricky's vehicles and home were damaged on Friday by baseball-size hail or was it basketball?

The Byrum-Layton Clan will be gathering at the home of Ricky & Bertha Blanchard for a Mother's Day Fish Fry Festival. Happy First Birthday to Emma James Ervin, namesake of Emma Layton Byrum. Little Emma is the daughter of Christie & Shawn Ervin and the sister of Ashley and Corey Venters.
