We did KISS the summer goodbye last night with a wiener roast. It was good to see Richard, Carol, Dad, Joan, Christy, Shawn, Emma and Pumsy around the open fire. (We all kinda look better with just the light of the fire.) We did forget the marshmallows though. Looking forward to doing it again next weekend!

Last day of summer!!!
Tomorrow, 9/22/06 is the last day of summer. Anyone up for a last skinny dip and weiner roast???
Camping
Jeremy, I know you have plenty of wood. Would you mind furnishing the wood for the campout? Margaret said that she was going to make Brunswick Stew. If this is a definite, maybe everyone could bring items that would go with that for our Saturday night cover-dish. Is that a definite, Margaret?
Danny Long had surgery for colon cancer yesterday. We talked to Phil yesterday afternoon and he said that everything went fine. From the preliminary findings they don't think that it has spread and that maybe he will not need chemo. Everyone with any age on them needs to have a colonoscopy. Don't put it off. Please remember Danny in prayer.

Thomas the Train
Christie & I bought our tickets together to ride Thomas. The only available spot for all 7 of us to ride together was Friday. So, we are planning to go see Thomas on Friday afternoon. Our train ride is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
