Party!

Yes! I did have a blast last Saturday night. They really pulled one over on me. I wouldn't have known anything if I hadn't overheard Amber at preschool (she went with me on Friday because she didn't have school) say to some of the children, "My granny's birthday is this month, October, but I can't talk about it. My momma told me I can't talk about it." Hannah had not planned to tell her, but she overheard Hannah talking about it on the Tuesday before, so the cat was out of the bag. When Ben, Amber and I went to lunch on Friday after preschool, Amber just giggled and really had to put her hand over her own mouth to keep from telling me. Had good food, company and karaoke. My voice is still hoarse! Will see you all late on Friday. Hannah is suppose to put our tent up before dark, but if any of you want to help, that would be great. I have a 3:45 doct. appt in Greenville and will be driving straight from there. Looks like the weather will be good - with highs around 70 degrees. Just a few more hours, and I'll be 1/2 a century old! I love it - you know some people never make it. I put a bright fall arrangement on Mom's grave today. She would have liked it! I think that she would have like karaoke also! She so loved to sing. Let's sing some for her on Saturday! I saw Emma Ervin today. Those of you who haven't seen (or heard) her lately won't believe her vocabulary! She pretty bright!!! and cute as a button! I'm getting excited just thinking about this weekend! Gotta go - love, Aunt B.
We really did have a good time Saturday night. But no one had a better time than Amber. I'm glad she came. I also think BB also enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Camping

Hello. What a blast we had Saturday night at the "surprise" party for BB. Much Fun!
Jeremy and Ed are bringing firewood for the camping trip. If anyone else has any and wants to bring it, please do. It looks like we might need to keep the fire going to keep the polar bears away. Brrr. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
