Camping
The Dan Nicholas Park does not cater to group camping. I found another site and spoke with someone and they were fine with groups. Our tents have to be on indiviual sites though. The tent sites are $35 a night with electric & water. I have included the link below. They do have available site for both weekends. The campground is approx. 25 miles from Spencer. Let me know what yall think......

Camping
I called the Dan Nicholas Park and they do have available sites for Sept 29 - Oct 1. The girl was not sure about such a large group (??) that we have. She asked me to call back tomorrow morning. I will keep you posted.
Camping #2
Okay, I'll try again. Yesterday I called the toll-free number for the Dan Nichols Campground in Salisbury. A recording said that they were completely booked for the Jubilee Weekend which is Oct 6-8. It also said there were openings for the other weekends and to leave my number for them to call back. I did not leave my number.

Poll
I am taking a poll. Please invite others to participate also even if they don't blog.
Two people are traveling I95 side by side. From the drivers' prospective, which driver is in the inside lane? Is it the driver on the right or the driver on the left?
In case you haven't figured it out yet, yes, this is a family argument--I mean discussion. We never argue. Thanks to all you people who take my side.

Camping
Just an idea......
Jason & I plan to take the kids again this year to see Thomas the Train @ The NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC. He will be there on the weekends of 9/29-10/1
And 10/6-10/8. We are planning to camp at the "Dan Nicholas Park" in Salisbury,NC. The park looks really fun and it has lots to do as well. I thought that would be fun for the Byrum's to do. We could all camp and those who want to see Thomas, go and those who don't can stay at the park. It does have cabins as well to rent for those "ol foogies". HA! HA! Let me know what you think??? I have included the links below to the Museum & the Park.
