Talking about the snow, we missed it all, which was fine with me and Gene. We enjoyed being with both families. While at Chris' we rented a limo and all went out to eat and then had him drive us around and look at Christmas lights. I know I've told some of you, Kyle broke out with chicken pox on Tuesday while we were all at Chris and Michelle.

Yes we too are keeping Ed in our prayers. Haven't called, I guess because I don't want to intrude, but think of him each day and pray that things are going well. Is he trying to work at all until he starts feeling the effects of the treatment?

Don't know whether I'm suppose to mention Chris and Michelle's news since she did not, but I'm going to anyway. They have put a contract on a house. It's not too far from her mothers and has four bedrooms. We're happy for them and hope that all goes well. Sometime closings can be difficult. Of course, I'd know since we've bought so many times.

Howie and Lol also has news, they got a new van. Their died just before Christmas. So other news that may make some of you sad. They have used that long sofa that was Mom and Dad for a long time, first in their living room and then in the children''s play room. While we were there Christmas, someone had a trailer full of new furniture (long story; don;t know all details) We went and looked and Howie and Lol both two matching love seats and that was the end of the old sofa. I'm sure you all remember it, it was never pretty, that velvet with the print. It lived a long life.

Bertha, did Amber's dress fit her or were you not happy with it? I'll return it if you want me to.

Christie, about getting together more, you're all welcomed here anytime, just give me a couple of weeks notice. Love you all, Margaret

Update

Glad to here everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Will continue to pray for you Uncle Eddie and the rest of the family as well. Aunt B says she got about 4 inches. We got 7 inches when all was said and done. What a difference a few miles makes. Looking forward to a healthy and prosperous new year. And wish the same for everyone else. I realize it's hard, but let's try to get together more this year. My "baby" will be turning 18 in about a month!!! That's all for now!
Ciao!

Ed

Everything went fine today. They say Ed will probably feel no effects for a couple of weeks. Of course he hates carrying this fanny pouch around but he and Barry joked that he should put on sunglasses and an Hawaiian shirt and pretend to be a tourist but I think Ed has decided to attach loops to it and put a wrench and hammer on it.

Ed

The doctor plans to start Ed's chemo pump this morning at 11:00. This will be a continuous 24-7 process for 5-6 weeks. He has his first radiation at 2:30 this afternoon. He will have these Mon-Fri with weekends off during the same period as the chemo. Barry is here with us today. Ed is very apprehensive about the whole process but hopefully things will go well.

Cathy and Jeremy sent Maple to live with Jeremy's parents this past weekend. As you all may remember, Maple is quite a handful and hopefully will be happier having a yard where she can run free, 'cause she sure can run. Still I know that they will miss having her around.
