Ed's appointment

Everything went fine yesterday in Chapel Hill. The plan is to do a CT scan on March 25 and if everything looks okay, the surgery is scheduled for April 4. It's either going to be a very long month or either a very short month, I'm not sure which. Either way, there's plenty of time for more prayers which we very much appreciate.
Love you guys!

Ed's progress

Well, Ed finished up his radiation treatments today. Hallelujah! We go to Chapel Hill on Friday for a follow-up appointment with the oncology dept and also the surgeon. I sure that we won't know anything for awhile though.

Amber is becoming quite a photographer, with the help of Granny's editing! Here is one of her photos! Posted by Hello
2005 has been quiet in the Blanchard home. Rick's had a little dental work and I've got a cold that I can't shake! Busy with work and church, as usual is my schedule. And NO, I still haven't got my preschool (storage and work at home) room organized!

After taking Hannah to a pulmonary specialist last week, we found that she's got pneumonia. With almost every cold she gets, her weak lungs put her into a "tail spin". She has quit smoking and this time, she's using the patches. Handling day to day stresses is usually what makes her go back to smoking, so please keep her in your prayers. A couple of years ago, her GP told her that she already had the lungs of a 40 year old and that if she continued to smoke for another 10 years, she'd have the lungs of a 60 year old. She seems to be doing well.
Amber and I went to Ben's church yesterday. Amber was so excited that she didn't sleep very well the night before. At 11:45 pm, and several times after that, she woke me up to see if it was time to get up and that left us both pretty tired when we got back home on Sunday. She slept half the way there and all the way home. Ben looks great. He's lost 39 pounds. He wouldn't let me take pictures to show anyone. He's still working hard to loose more!

It's good to hear everyone good news. So keep 'um coming!
