Spent Wednesday evening and most of Thursday with Margaret. She is doing just great, still needs to slow down on her extra-curricular activities though. Each time I see her working with the occupational therapist and the physical therapist, I can see improvement. They were asking for measurements on her stairs at home so that they could order her ramp so I don't think it will be too long before they'll be talking about her going home. Kinda scary, I think. It would be for me anyway. They said the stairs will be of the temporary type that roll out and you can take up when they are no longer needed. She's really getting good care and developing some friendly relationships with the staff.
Sounds like the GA Belvins are having a great time with Dad being home!

Saturday August 16

Anyone who wants to spend the night at my house is welcome. The nursing center is about 20 minutes from my house. Let me know ASAP if you plan to stay at my house. I am on vacation from the 16th through the following 2 weeks and my fried Terry is coming into town from Chicago. Peace Ben
Great news this morning. Michelle was on her way to meet Chris at the airport last night (in Charleston, I think, not sure)
SATURDAY, AUGUST 16TH--Reserve this date on your calendar. A pig roast is planned to celebrate Chris's return. It will be held at the nursing center. They have a wonderful courtyard with wrought iron furniture which will work great. More details later.
As Norma, the cleaning lady at the nursing center, said, "God is good!"
