Hello. I wonder if anyone has considered camping in the mountains. That sounds like fun to me.

Cathy went back to the doctor yesterday to have her stitches taken out. They said that the test shows that all abnormal cells have been removed. Her surgery to have the one taken off of her back is scheduled for October 1.
Ben, it is a wonderful thing that you are doing for Marquis. I hope that everything works out for the best.
Talked to Margaret for a few minutes yesterday. It seems that they have gotten her blood too thin again and it's causing problems for her. Hopefully this will get adjusted before too long.
Christie mentioned camping in her blog. Bertha said that she mentioned maybe going to somewhere different this year, maybe to the coast. I hear Rodanthe has a nice campground. Sounds good to me. Input, anyone?

"My Big Brother"

Ben, I am very proud of you. Marquis is very lucky to have you in his life! We are looking foward to seeing yall at the party. It's not going to be much, just a cookout with the family and few friends. He is quite the show clown!! He loves to dance and make faces.
**For those who know Rickie Goodwin, he grew up in Center Hill, he is about mom's age.
He was work in the grain tank at work and slipped into the auger and it cut his foot off. It happened about 2 1/2 weeks ago. He is doing ok, considering the circumstances. His spirits are really good. He is staying with his sister, Vicki Blanchard. He has 8 pins in his knee and the bones were just crushed. Keep him in your prayers. I have grown very fond of him over the past 2 years. Keep In Touch & Take Care !!!!

I remember seeing most of you at Margarts Pig Roast but it is somewhat of a blur. I went Monday and filed papers at the courthouse to take custody of Marquis. The court date is September 17th. I have had to move furniture all around to make room for him to have his own bedroom. That is quite a task. It seems that all the furniture from the whole condo is in the living room now. I have, since Marquis has been living with me, found that my favorite room in the whole place is the bathroom. I took him bowling for his birthday (with 12 of the other mission kids) The AMF bowling center will never be the same again. He starts school Tuesday and is excited about that. I am trying to change my schedule around to make this all work. Is Margaret home now? I am planning on coming to Clay's birthday party. Ben
