Good Day, everyone. I saw the birthday boy, Corey, on the 14th, the day before his birthday. In 12 months, he'll be driving at a ripe old age of 16! Looked tired because he'd just been to baseball practice. He's playing second base for the JV team. Emma stayed with me for a couple of hours on the 14th. She began daycare/preschool in March and she's back in the "hugging Mama's leg" syndrome again. She didn't cry very long though.
Flash! As you schedule your events, keep in mind that Christie is trying to plan "something" for Emma's birthday and Ashley's graduation the weekend of the 14 & 15 of May. Keep Christie & Ash in your prayers as they makes her plans for her future after high school.

Joyce and Ed, We are so glad to hear the news. We know that God does answer prayers. Ed, you looked great yesterday considering what you've been through. If we can help in any way, please let us know. Wish you could go to Las Vegas with us, but maybe next time. Christie/Ashley, I bought another dress that I haven't worn yet. It's light green and long with a slit up the side. The back goes almost to the waist. Also someone gave me a long black dress that has double speghitti straps and has lacing in the back and a slit up the side. Let me know if you want to see either of them. Happy Birthday to Cory this Friday, yes I knew that date, but when I bought the card, decided to send so that I wouldn't forget and it be late. Margaret

Ed's progress

Ed's surgery went fine. We came back home on Friday and even though he is in quite a bit of pain, he seems to be doing remarkably well. Talked to the surgeon's nurse this morning and she said the pathology report showed no cancer in the 16 lymph nodes which were removed and also in the extra tissue which was removed surrounding the area. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Thanks for your prayers.
