I found out this afternoon that my eye surgery has been scheduled for Wednesday morning sometime between 8:30 and 12:30. I have to call Tuesday Afternoon and they will tell me the exact time. After the first 2 surgeries I had to go back the next morning first thing and I am assuming this will be the same. I am going to get a hotel room for Wednesday/Wednesday night so Lol and I will stay over night in Durham so that we will not have to drive back to Hickory Wednesday afternoon and then back at the crack of dawn on Thursday. I will post a Post-surgery blog one the deed is done. No gorry stuff since it offends some people (Cathy)

Doctor's visit
So why did Cathy have to call me out like that? No stitches, needles, or blood today. :)
After doing several tests and talking with the doctor, it appears that I will have another surgery on my left eye in the next 2 weeks. By the time we got back to Hickory, the doctor had already called and said he was going to do the procedure in Durham. As it turns out, my current doctor trained under this specialists. He is going to do a simple procedure, just one stitch this time and hopefully increase the pressure and straighten out the nerves or whatever in the back of my eye. He said there is about a 70% chance of success, let's hope I fall into that 70%. He also prescibed another drop for my right eye to get the pressure down. He said once the left eye is healed, a surgery will have to be performed on my right eye. If all goes well, the second surgery will happen at the end of September or the beginning of October. I guess the phrase "No pain No Gain" truly fits for me. I will keep everyone updated as I should find out the exact date of the surgery tomorrow or Monday.
Kyle is having a good time at team soccer camp, even got his head shaved by the seniors. He, the other 2 freshmen and the 3 sophmores are actually playing for another team from the next county over. His team is loaded with Juniors and Seniors and the young guys were not getting any playing time in the scrimmages. He is playing a lot, but the team is apparently really bad as he said they have lost every game by at least 4 goals.
Hope Uncle Ed is not feeling too rough and hope he and Joyce can make the camping trip.

Cecil Bud
Talked to Bertha a little bit ago. Daddy had his stress test today and since has been disoriented and unsteady on his feet. Robert (Joan's son-in-law who is an EMT) checked him out and suggested calling 911 for transport to ER. That is all I know as yet.
Ed has not been able to work this week and is tiring more easily.
Howard has an appointment at Duke for consultation on his eye problem.
Hannah is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning.
Pray, pray, and then pray some more.

Chris coming home - Hannah Cyst
It looks like Chris will be coming home a little early. He says he's to fly out the day before his and Michelle's church wedding, which was July 31. He flys to Kuwait, be there a few days and then home. Pray for his safe return.
We also need to keep Hannah in prayer. She was in emergency room last night, but another cyst on her overies. She and family were to go to Georgia, but due to her problem, they will not be going. I'm sure Bertha will give a better view of what is going on when she can.
