Hello everyone. Just wanted to let whomever needs to know that I will be bringing deviled eggs and maybe a dessert on Sunday. I know I said strawberry salad, Bertie, but I think deviled eggs is more in keeping with the picnic theme. Let me know if this is not okay. Looking forward to seeing whomever is there.

I've told some of you, but thought I'd share with others. Friday night, I dreamed of Chris that had jumped into a body of waterand was swimming toward a boat that was idleing. As he approached the boat it started and Chris got caught and was being dragged yelling, "Mom, I'm hurt, Mom, I'm hurt" I was running on the bank trying to get the attention of driver of the boat yelling, "I'm coming, I'm coming." I woke up very frightened and looked that the clock to note the time, 4:20 AM. I started praying, "Please don't let him be hurt" I drifted off to sleep and about 15 minutes later the phone rang. You can imagine how worried I was. It happened to be Chris. He was calling, but thankfully, not saying he was hurt. He had only 3 minutes. He had called to wish Gene a Happy Father's Day and a Happy Birthday. Since we had spoken to him since he left in January, it was great to hear his voice. Hannah, I'm glad you and Amber were not hurt in your accident on Saturday. Tell Amber I'm sorry I didn't get to see her but am looking forward to seeing her this weekend. Bertha, thanks for listening to me gripe. Sorry I kept you up too late. I did get to see Emma, she is so cute. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, but am sorry that none of my family will be able to attend.
