Just a quick blog, anyone who wishes to get in the hot tub on the 13th, bring your bathing suits. Christie, make sure that you bring the unmbrella for Cory and Ashley. Joyce, one day I'm planning to go to Ima Jean's and the next I'm not. I told Ima Jean today I'll probably go. I had definately planned to go, but now I'm having a colonoscopy on Monday which means, starting with breakfast on Sunday, I can only have liquids and have to be home by 2. I told her I'm bringing a container for chicken pot pie so I can have it on Monday afternoon or Tuesday. Gene will not be coming, he's on call with a Funeral Home from the 3rd till the 10th.

Just a short note. I think I've finally decided what I'm fixing for the 13th. I think I'll be cooking a turkey and a ham before hand and maybe if I don't run out of time, I'll make a little shrimp creole and rice. I'll make cramberry salad and vegetables. Lol will be making mashed potatoes.
Chritie is making deviled eggs and dessert. Bertha will be making broccli salad and sweet potatoes and maybe something sweet. I understand that Joyce had better be bringing scotch-a-roos. By the way, hope your birthday is great. I know how you like recieving your card on time, hope you did. I know it didn't get there early, but maybe not on time, depends on the mail service.
I guess we'll try eating around 1 or 1:30 unless anyone wishes otherwise. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

A late Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Ours was very nice with Cathy & Jeremy & Barry with us. Thanks to Jeremy's boss, we were provided a turkey. Cathy thawed it out and brought it on Thanksgiving morning. Then I gave her my recipe and a little instruction and she breezed through cooking her first turkey. It was delicious. Hope everyone's meal was as good as ours.
I'm glad Christie mentioned Marquis and Christmas. We really need to know so we can include him in the gift-giving.
Well, our pastor gave his notice Sunday morning. Didn't say exactly why he is leaving so maybe we'll find out more as time goes on. He said he looked at it as just an interruption--whatever that means. So I guess we'll be searching again. Don't look forward to it, no siree.
