Cathy had one mole removed today and is scheduled for surgery to remove a second larger one on July 29. Talked to Dad and he was very tired but seemed to be better. Dad said Bertha had all the details so look forward to her blog.

Cathy is going to a dermatologist in Greenville today to have some moles checked out. Please remember her and also Dad in your prayers.

I wanted to share something that I read in Amber's classroom. "The important thing is not so much that every child should be taught, as that every child should be given the wish to learn!" Isn't that great. But it takes someone with special skill to accomplish that and Bertha you probably have that special skill. When I saw it, I copied it because I knew you would like it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.-----Then you will be a mile away and you will have their shoes.

We also had a good time at the Blanchards yesterday, such good food, fresh string beans, fresh squash, fresh cucumbers, grown and fixed by Cathy and Jeremy and oh so many great desserts. I also wanted to share with everyone, we are excited that next Sunday, we will be having family coming to visit. Michelle, her mother, Beverly and the children are coming for a few days. We are already planning activities and look forward to their visit. How we have some good weather while they're here. Due to a bad accident, we had to be re-routed from 32 so we traveled past Richard's and stopped, but no one was at home.

Happy, Happy Birthday to the old fogey, Gene Belvin. Hope that you have a good birthday doing what you want to do and enjoying yourself. We sure did have a good day yestiddy at the Blanchard's. They sure know how to throw a party. I probably won't blog much this week as I'll be working on VBS for next week. All you young mothers, I believe Bertha is asking for your help.
