Happy Belated Birthday to all those May birthdays I overlooked - Emma, Barry, Hanna. May has been a busy month. Sorry for being late.

We enjoyed Chris' family's visit. We stayed busy, Children's Museum, Jeepers (the new bumper cars are great fun) movies, zoo, going to get ice cream. We also enjoyed seeing everyone at Christies, especially Ben who we had not seen for some time. He looks great with loss of about 90 pounds if I remember right. We did miss seeing Barry, although we understand that you were probably working.

Thanks to everyone who came to Ashley's party. She really enjoyed it even though the cat was let out of the bag early. Oh well! She graduates this Friday, May 27, 2005. Looks like we will be having great weather for the occasion. It was a great surprise to see Michelle and kids. Hope you enjoyed yourselves.

Good to hear from you Chris. Hope all stays well with you and your comrades. Will keep you in my prayers.

Well, I'm finally showing up. If you've read Howie's post, you know what I'm up to. Went to the range the last couple of days. We're up at 3:30 am to shoot early. Sun's up around 4-4:30 here. Who needs a rooster? We'll be here for a few more days before we head north. Luckily, the majority of us are flying, to include me. Our camp is just outside the airport. Not to worry, the opposite side of IED Alley. We'll be staying in air conditioned 8-10 man tents. From what I understand, I'll get to put my carpentry skills to work. That's about it for now. Miss everybody.
