Happy New Year to everyone and a prayer for a healthy 2006. Well, when I read Margaret's spelling, I feel in good company. I don't think it's got much to do with age for me though. I've never been a good speller and I leave off letters and leave out words. In the past, Joyce would correct my spelling, but Barry told her to stop, something about changing history, I think. I'd rather Joyce change history and help me not look so careless.
Christmas was good for the Blanchards, except for the stomach virus that Rick's nephew brought to everyone on Christmas Day. Since then, Clay, Hannah, Jason, Rick, Rick's 89 year old dad, his 80 year old mom, Diane(Rick's sister) and her boyfriend have had it! Somehow, Amber and I have evaded it! Rick enjoyed his day off today, but I had to go back to school. It was a calm day. Hannah got a white 7 week old bulldog puppy for Christmas. He looks like the one on The Little Rascals but his one spot is on his back.
