Camping

Let's go camping! My family will bring the salad fixings - lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green pepper, onion, cheese, tomato, bacon bits, and croutons. Anything not listed that you want, please bring. I will bring some dressing, but I suggest if you're picky, bring your favorite. We'll also bring chips and baked beans.

I am leaving tomorrow to go to Clyde, NC, west of Asheville. I will be working with the Baptist Men's disaster relief team. I am certified in TECC, temporary emergency child care. I will be back home Thursday night. Bertha

I will bring the hot dog buns and chili. How many hot dogs are you bringing, Margaret? I will bring more than enough chili, but I would like to know how many buns to bring. I am also bringing sausage, as opposed to bacon, if anyone wants to know. Do we need to bring our stove? Looking forward to the trip!

Joyce, I'm sorry you always get stuck with this. I was only joking about your doing it. I guess since no one else volunteered, you decided that by default, it was left to you. Sorry. I'll bring the hotdogs for everyone, eggs, bread, fruit, orange juice. I'll also bring chopped onions, not as many as before since very few eat them on the hotdogs. Does anyone else want to bring the hotdog rolls? Any thing else you need me to do, let me know. Margaret

I went with Joan to her niece's wedding on Saturday in Fredricksburg, Va on Saturday. She has a very nice family. Her niece married a minister from LA and will be living in Mooresville, NC. No damage here from Ivan. How about GA and Hickory?

Jason is having a colonoscopy (spelling?) on Wednesday and an upper bile series on Thursday. Please remember him in your prayers. He has been doing better and has been back at work. Like anyone else would be, he's dreading the test.

Would like to work with the children Friday/Saturday of the camping trip to put on a production Sunday morning for the adults. We'll brain storm and let the children plan the production. I'll just be there to help make costumes & etc. Bertha
