We hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We had a lazy day at home. Me and Mrs. Smith made an apple pie and I made homemade ice cream. We went to Edenton Bay and watched fireworks from the boat. For Edenton to be such a small town, they really do a good job with the fireworks. When's the next get together?

Hope everyone got the day off. Saw a flier yesterday, apparently someone's opening a "North Carolina Country Store" here in Brooklyn -- I think to sell sausage, mainly. Any guesses what "souse meat" is (besides maybe a typo)?
