We hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We had a lazy day at home. Me and Mrs. Smith made an apple pie and I made homemade ice cream. We went to Edenton Bay and watched fireworks from the boat. For Edenton to be such a small town, they really do a good job with the fireworks. When's the next get together?

Margaret & granddaughters are coming the end of July/beginning of Aug. to spend a night or two with me. There is a trip in the planning to the Nicholson House for another tea party. Maybe we'll plan a gathering around their visit at my house or Arrowhead.
