Ed home

We are now at home but still with plenty of barium. His potassium level is back up and we will be trying at home what they were trying at the hospital. We are happy to be back at home.

Ed

Ed had a pretty rough day yesterday. Seems that everything that they used to try to purge the barium from his system made him nauseous. They tried something about 7:30 last night which seemed to better agree with him. He was able to eat a Wendy's Frostie and some orange serbert and drink some juice and keep it all down. They took him down to xray this morning to check how much of the barium he has been able to get rid of. I'm home washing up and getting him some different clothes. Please continue to pray that they are able to get the barium out of his system so that we will be able to find out what the next step is.
Thanks for all your concern. We love you.

Joyce, I'm sure that the Family Christmas on the 11th is the furtherest thing from your mind right now, but you know if you need someone else to do it, I can. If there is anything I can do right now except pray, please let me know. Love ya, Margaret

Howie, Happy Birthday. Since it's after 12, it's now the 22nd. Talk to you later. Mom

Ed

Ed has still not been able to get rid of the barium even though we have been trying different things all weekend. He also has not been able to eat or drink anything. The doctor wanted him to go to the hospital tonight for an enema and a potassium check. His potassium was low so they have admitted him overnight. Would someone call Dad in the morning so that he will not worry if he happens to call and can't get me?
