Chris, wish that you could have seen the game live. It was very exciting even though the wrong team came out on top. I'm sure your Dad enjoyed it though.
Enjoyed being with everyone at the beach and appreciate Margaret hosting us. My lips are still chapped from the pepper relish, Shawn. Next time I'll try to pay more attention to what's being said.
Ed had another bout of something this week. Spent all night Tuesday night throwing up. We'll probably make another trip to Chapel Hill soon to try to determine what's going on.
We're looking forward to the camping trip. Does anyone have any ideas? As I recall, Margaret said I would not have to plan it this year.

Go Hokies!!!

Sorry, Cathy but gotta' do it. Was reading the Middle East edition of Stars and Stripes the other day and I saw where the defending ACC Champion Hokies of Va Tech beat NC State. Couldn't let it go without rubbing it in. Don't worry, once the Redskins and Giants play, I'm sure Howie will rub it in if Washington wins. Nothing much else going on here. Just running a couple missions a week. Soon we'll be training up the guys from 101st Airborne replacing us and we'll be packing up for our move south.
Went to check on a few infrastructure projects last week. While we were in Mahmudiya, an IED went off about 3 feet behind one of our vehicles and 10 feet in front of our rear vehicle. I was gunning up in the hatch of the 2nd vehicle, just like the last one. Everybody's okay, not even a scratch on either humvee. yes, Psalm 91 still proves true. Love you guys. Wish I could be at the beach right now.
GO HOKIES!!!
