Talked to Margaret last night and she found a lady who is the daughter of a lady who is a companion of Mrs Graves who was the wife of a former employer of Gene's (did everybody follow that?) She stayed with Margaret yesterday and Margaret seemed quite pleased with her so hopefully that will work out well. Margaret goes to the orthopedic surgeon today to be seen for the first time since the surgery. She will be x-rayed and her progress evaluated. I trust that she will get a good report.
Talked to Daddy last night and he seemed much improved.

To answer Christie's question...One day I just happened to notice a mole on my stomach that I did not remember being there. It just looked pretty big for me not to remember being there. I'm not sure if it had always been there and had just gotten bigger or what. It was a fairly good size and part of it was raised. I just got a worried feeling about it. The doctor didn't seemed to be concerned about the one on my stomach. He just took it off because I was worried about it. But he looked at the one on my back and immedietely said that one was abnormal and had to be cut out. I'm really not worried about that one, cause i've had it all my life. but the doctor seems to be. but i was right about the first one, so maybe i'll be right about the one on my back. so if you ever have one that you question, it's best to take it off. it was really no big deal for them to take it off the surface.

As for Jeremy's truck, the only luck he's had is finding another one. He's found one he likes and worked a deal out, but just like the last one, we're going all the way to Winston-Salem to get it. The cop must have known what he was talking about when he told us we would never see that truck again.

Hope everyone has a good labor day and has the day off!
Spent the last few days with Margaret. Physically she seems to be doing very well. Emotionally, I'm not so sure. Maybe she can share some thoughts on this. It's my personal feeling that she does not need to be without someone readily available as she could get in trouble at any time and need someone's help. Her neighbor, Fran and son, Hans are at home during the day a majority of the time and do drop in so this is some comfort. Margaret is exploring some avenues so hopefully some of this will work out. Keep the prayers flowing.

Cathy has not received a report from her surgery. Goes back to the doctor on September 2. She may not know anything until then.
