Sorry everyone is feeling sick. Gene and I are beginning to feel better. We have just had a hacking cough, no fever or any flu symptoms (sp). We fly to GA on Tuesday afternoon and will be back early Monday morning on the 29th. Hope we don't overstay our welcome. Hope everyone is well for Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.

I had a great time at Margaret's on Saturday but now I think I'm coming down with the flu. Is anyone else feeling poorly? I feel lousy.

I enjoyed having everyone yesterday. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. We missed those of you who could not come. Hope Shawn is feeling better. Of course I do wish that Chris' family could have been here, but it's hard to move and be out of town at the same time, maybe next year. Gene, Howie and Kyle left about 7 to go to the hockey game. When they got back, Gene was feeling lousy and went straight to bed. Even though, I had put flowers in church today in honor of Gene to celebrate our 40th anniversary, (which is next Sunday) I did not wake him up to go to church. Just before I left for church, he was getting up to go to work, working a 2 o'clock funeral. I told him that if I had known that he was working, I would have waken him up for church and of course, his reply was that is he had known about the flowers, he would have gotten up. So much for surprises.
