Doctor's visit

So why did Cathy have to call me out like that? No stitches, needles, or blood today. :)
After doing several tests and talking with the doctor, it appears that I will have another surgery on my left eye in the next 2 weeks. By the time we got back to Hickory, the doctor had already called and said he was going to do the procedure in Durham. As it turns out, my current doctor trained under this specialists. He is going to do a simple procedure, just one stitch this time and hopefully increase the pressure and straighten out the nerves or whatever in the back of my eye. He said there is about a 70% chance of success, let's hope I fall into that 70%. He also prescibed another drop for my right eye to get the pressure down. He said once the left eye is healed, a surgery will have to be performed on my right eye. If all goes well, the second surgery will happen at the end of September or the beginning of October. I guess the phrase "No pain No Gain" truly fits for me. I will keep everyone updated as I should find out the exact date of the surgery tomorrow or Monday.
Kyle is having a good time at team soccer camp, even got his head shaved by the seniors. He, the other 2 freshmen and the 3 sophmores are actually playing for another team from the next county over. His team is loaded with Juniors and Seniors and the young guys were not getting any playing time in the scrimmages. He is playing a lot, but the team is apparently really bad as he said they have lost every game by at least 4 goals.
Hope Uncle Ed is not feeling too rough and hope he and Joyce can make the camping trip.
