GA Belvin Visit conti- On Tuesday, Gene had to go out of town for a meeting and I gave Beverly and Michelle the day off. They went to Williamsburg and to the pottery. With Bertha's help, we took the children to the beach and we all had a great time. We then had a late lunch before Bertha and Amber headed to home for Amber's tball game. After some ice cream, I took the children to see "Finding Nemo" which was cute. Gene, Beverly and Michelle met us at MacArthur Mall at Chilli's where Beverly took us to dinner. Then on Wednesday Gene worked a funeral, we took the ferry to Portsmouth where Gene met us for lunch and then had a visit at the Children's Museum, which is a favorite place of the children. Gene fried his "Pop's Famous Fried Chicken" for dinner. They all left for home around 9:30 am today and I went back to work. I'd much rather play. We enjoyed their visit and hope they'll come back soon. On Wednesday morning before Michelle got up, Beverly told me that Chris had called during the night (or as she put it, "it'd better have been Chris who called her at 3 am He had called home and then Beverly's and then her cell phone. He says his date to get out the Army is December 20. I think he was in pretty good spirits. I have to go to bed. Good night.
