Seems like the Belvin boys are monopolizing blogger space recently. Where is everyone. Well, we're all just about done recovering from annual Macon Cherry Blossom fest. Was from 19-28 March. Told y'all about first weekend of Cherry Blossom. Last Friday, Michelle's Mom and I took her to the tiger show and munched on vendor food for lunch. Saturday morning about 5 of us Bibb Co-Macon EMA guys helped Macon PD with traffic control for a marathon and 5K races that started at Wesleyan College about 5 min away from about 5:45-9am and then most of us helped man gates to the street party from about 3:30-11'ish pm and then helped with a few intersections downtown to keep traffic moving smoothly. Sunday we took the kids to Wesleyan for the finale, a bunch of music, things for kids to do, capped off by fireworks around 8:30pm. They gave away a BMW in a raffle where tickets costs $100. Needless to say we didn't buy any.

Mandi hit her goal of having 100 books read to her at home by end of April and will get a trophy with, so far, the other 3 kids in her class that did so as well at the end of the year. Of course her bringing us 7-10 books when we tell her to get "a few" might have something to do with it. Cortlyn and Chris are doing well in school as well. Cortlyn has really shown an interest in basketball lately and her skills are showing it; good thing since she's got Michelle's height gene and is predicted to reach 6' by the time she's done growing. I believe Grandma Easterbunny may be bringing them a basketball goal for Easter.

We're coming up, as of now, Monday evening after Michelle gets off work (5:30'ish) and arriving in Norfolk early Tuesday morning. We plan on leaving Saturday morning. We're hoping one day that week, Bertha/Hannah, to maybe to come down to NC and visit with Granddaddy and let the girls visit with their cousin Amber when she gets out of school that afternoon. Maybe I'll take Chris out to the woods and let him shoot the .22 rifle he got for Christmas from Michelle's dad.

Well, that's about it. Hope to see as many people as I can while we're up in Va.
Chris
