Dad's surgery

An update on Dad -- after five hours of surgery yesterday, the tumor was removed successfully and Dad's plumbing was reattached. He spent most of yesterday evening asleep but he's been up today -- Mom says he hurts from the operation. She says they now have twin scars, his matching her C-section scar. Doctors haven't said how long he'll have to stay at the hospital -- typically after this surgery, patients take about six days before going home.
