Just an idea......
Jason & I plan to take the kids again this year to see Thomas the Train @ The NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC. He will be there on the weekends of 9/29-10/1
And 10/6-10/8. We are planning to camp at the "Dan Nicholas Park" in Salisbury,NC. The park looks really fun and it has lots to do as well. I thought that would be fun for the Byrum's to do. We could all camp and those who want to see Thomas, go and those who don't can stay at the park. It does have cabins as well to rent for those "ol foogies". HA! HA! Let me know what you think??? Jeremy and I are in for either weekend. Monday, Oct 9 is Columbus Day which may make that weekend easier for some. Does school get out for Columbus Day? I may be the only one who gets that random holiday.
Sounds good to us. We should get cracking though because it will probably fill up fast if it isn't already full.
Don't see anything on my caledar for either of those weekends. No, we do not have off Columbus Day. Count on the Blanchards.
I do have Columbus Day off also, Cathy. But it's because I have off all days that the bank is closed. You do still work for a bank, don't you? If the family is going camping, I'm in. Gene says that he's not driving that far to camp, but we'll see. If not I'll stay in a tent, not cabin. So, who's checking to see if they have space available?
Sounds like fun to me! Hannah, since you got the ball rolling, does that mean you're checking on availability?
