It was so ironic that this accident happened on the very same date that Margaret got hit by that car 4 years ago. If anyone had been in front of me, I could be in a similar situation as the fellow who hit her or if the car had not stopped, I could be in a similar situation as Margaret. I feel so fortunate that nothing more happened.

Well Joyce, you didn't tell me you were a celebrity...making the local paper and all. Did you find out if your car had brake problems? Glad you didn't get hurt.
