Veteran's Day

I would like to thank you, Chris, for your courage in fighting to keep this country a free country. I'm glad you're home and in the states. Will we see you on December 15th?

I'm not sure of any other vets in our family except Grandaddy. But....he doesn't blog.

I know my dad was in the National Guard and it seems that I've seen a picture of Eddie in uniform???

Anyway... thanks to all our veterans and current service people. They make this country what it is today! SAAAAAAAAAALUTE!

You must have seen Ed's picture in his longjohn's which is hanging in his shed. That's the only picture I remember seeing of him in a uniform. Nope, no military service but he does love his war movies.

Christie remembers seeing Uncle Tommy, Dad's brother, in uniform at my parents'.

Great post, Christie. Thank you, Chris & your family for the sacrifices made for all of us.

Christie, Thnaks for the support of our previouos and current veterans. During his deployments, many would say to me it must be hard to know your loved one is in harms way. I agreed, but I also informed them that I lived off a our soldier's faith that he would return home in safe hands and his belief in his mission. I still live off that faith and beleif today. Chris is a soldier's soldier and will always forever be so.
