Hey, is this an ugly foot or what. This is what happened.
"Tonight some of us were doing combatives" (grappling) and my pinky toe got stuck between the mats and it stayed when I moved and was pointing west about 10-15 degrees away from the rest of my foot. I got one of the guys to pull it out and try to put it back since we just thought it was maybe jammed or something. The Sgt major that was with us made me go to the aid station and they sent me over to the clinic for X-rays. It wasn't broken. The doc there asked did I want something to numb it before he tried to put it back into place. Originally, I declined. But, after about 5 seconds of his tugging and pulling, I told him to stop. He asked if I wanted the shot and I told him please! He gave me two shots of lidocaine in my toe and, once my toe numbed, he tugged, pulled and put it back in place. They x-rayed it again and it was definitely lined up better than earlier. It's a little sore, but nothing I haven't been through before; not the displaced toe, but jammed/sore fingers/toes.

Here are pics of my foot. It didn't look so bad last night, just a purple line across where it joined my foot and purple underneath. It was pretty swollen around 25% of my foot this morning. After taping my toes together and walking in my boots today, this is what it looks like.

Hey, when is someone going to blogg again. I get tired of looking and finding nothing.

Cathy, Jeremy, I loved the pictures of the twins in the wagon in the snow. When Ben came over, he showed them to me. I seem to be able to find them sometimes, but not others.

I guess everyone knows that Joan is having a mass biopsied from her throat this Friday. Keep in prayer. Doctor thinks it's nothing to worry about, but wanted to make sure.

I assume this was a post that you got from Chris. You neglected to mention that. When I started reading, I scrolled to the bottom and still no mention. So I went back to the top assuming it was your foot which I did think was an ugly foot. But now that I think it is Chris' foot, it's not so ugly. Nice pedicure. Not near so ugly as some I've seen in my family.

Concerning the lack of posts, everyone in the "for-profit world" are busy trying to figure out how to make a buck.

By the way what do we know about Lol's Dad?

Ed says, "Does Chris get a purple foot medal for this?"

Hey! It takes a kick(foot) to get us going sometimes! How'd that middle toe get a longer nail? More fertilizer? Love, Aunt B
