Hello Everyone!
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer. It is about that time again to start looking forward to the Griswald Family Camping Trip!!! At this point we need to start looking at our calendars and see what's good for late September & October. We also need to decide where we will be going. I am up for keeping it @ Outdoor World or venturing off into new lands. In the next week or two I will research and see what other campgrounds are in the central locations for us all. Look at your schedules and email me @ hjones@ncnortheast.com and I post what weekends are best for the majority of the group. I guess it's time for the 2nd generation to take control and little B is up for the job!

When is the family campout this year? I'll pretty much be off for the whole month of September. I want to bring the kids home and take them crabbing. I may just do that on a weekend, since it will be late August before I go on leave. I'll just have to wait and play everything by ear when I get home, I guess.
Hannah, The above is part of an email from Chris. I know that he would like to come when the family does go camping.
I prefer Outdoor World. It has shade, water, activities for all. I know that we would need to take care of details and not expext Joyce and Ed to do it. I will be willing to do whatever I can. Gene and I will going to Nags Head Sept 5 - Set 12. The weekend that works best for us is probably September 26-27. But we are flexable to some extent. Would really like for Chris to be able to come.
Anytime is good for us as well. Ashley's due date is October 30 I think so anytime in September or early October is best for us.

September 25-27 Luau Fall Festival - Annual fall festival wrap-up with a new twist. Enjoy a fun filled Hawaiian Luau with music,Hawaiian attire, limbo and games. Dinner we be consist of NC BBQ with a tropical flair. DJ dance wraps up this energized weekend.
I'm not sure what "we be consist" means. I assume it's the bbq weekend if anyone is interested. We'll be there if we can.
I know that Howie and Lol's family would not be available weekend of September 18, 19, 20.
It looks like the Isoms can be free most weekends in Sep & Oct. We'll go with the popular vote.
We'll go wherever the crowd goes, but I'm sure Jeremy hopes it is the OBX.
The Blanchards are available for the 25th-27th. Are we to bring our Hawaiian attire? Dean's daughter has a coconut bra and a grass skirt. Shall I wear it? What do you think?

THe Hickory Belvins can make it the last weekend in September. We also vote for outdoor world
