New Life in Ed's Japanese Maple

Looked in the nest yesterday and saw two eggs, Looked today and there were three. I don't know what kind of bird it is. I know it's not a robin and it doesn't look like it has a long enough tail to be a mocking bird but it might be. What do you think?

Don't have a clue. Don't know too much about bird eggs.

If it's not a robin then it's probably a starling. Starlings are a little smaller and do not have the orange breast.

I think it's new life & I'm sure Ed would approve of them living in his tree...as long as they're not squirrel eggs. Ed knew how to enjoy life while it passes some of us by.
