Thanksgiving was very nice with the Blanchard's this year. All seemed to be grateful to be with each other and remembered Granddaddy in his absence. It wasn't a sad absence, but a grateful feeling for our memories of him at so many Thanksgivings before. We all left with warm feelings. Ben was missed, but called Nan during the day which lifted her spirits. He left Wednesday night for NY to be with church associated friends. Clay and Alex have bonded and do their best to hide from Ibby (Elizabeth) which is two years younger. Amber enjoys the newest addition to the family, Eric, who will be one in December. The Jones' met for lunch which the daughter-in-laws prepared. Hannah was proud of her first dressing. They joined us for dinner @ Diane's as we always eat after 5:00.
I, too am grateful for all the members of the Byrum family and look forward to seeing you ALL in two weeks.
