Hello, everyone! I think Dad enjoyed his birthday. He and Joan came over and I cooked Dad pickled herring. I say Dad, because Joan doesn't eat fish except flounder. Joan had leftover pork chops that Ricky grilled on Thursday.

I too enjoyed camping, but maybe the first weekend in Oct is the best, - cool, but not too cool. Did the weather make anyone sick? Not me or Rick. Sorry that no one ate the chips that I brought for the hotdog lunch, but I didn't realize that ya'll were eating lunch. Hannah also said as we cooked supper on Saturday, "When are we suppose to eat the baked beans that I brought?" She missed lunch also. Oops! Love to you all, Aunt B.
