Question for the week: What was/is your favorite pastime as a child? Did/Do you prefer doing it alone or with someone else?
It seems that my favorite pastime was reading even though I don't remember that we had a lot of books. I particularly liked reading in the spring or fall when it was chilly inside. I would go out and read in the car where it was toasty warm from the sun. I also remember Gloria and I writing cartoon captions in Daddy's farm books. I wonder whatever happened to those books. Does anyone remember Mama going out to the car to fold clothes and listen to her soap opera stories on the radio or was it just to get away from us youngins'?
