Christie called to say that her dad, Richard Earl, fell off a ladder in the hog house this morning and fractured his pelvis in 2 places. Home on bed rest, although not complete bed rest. Complete bed rest might cause a blood clot, quoting Christie, quoting Richard, quoting a doctor. She also said, he said, "I ain't taking no pain pills." She said, "We'll see"
The reason that I'm writing is that she said that she wouldn't get the chance to blog til Monday.

Christie, You may be right. I had a friend from church who fractured her pelvis in a car accident and she had lots of problems, even had to walk with a cane. Of course, I'm sure there are different bones and all fractures are not the same. Come to think of it, she may have crushed her pelvis. You know how my memory works or rather how it doesn't work.
Is there anything Richard Earl needs to help pass the time? He doesn't seem like a guy who'd have much use for a flower bouquet.
Dad's still sore and not moving around much. He only gets up to use bathroom and says he doesn't like to do that very much since it hurts so bad to walk. Says he's getting around pretty well with the walker and hasn't ventured outside yet which would require going down steps.
Barry, thanks for your well wishes but you are correct in saying that he has no use for flowers. I will tell him you wished him well though.
