Mom and Dad

I know I'm a little late posting on this one, but what the heck.

My Dad was VP of Sales at Seaboard Memorials Monuments. Yep, he sold tomb stones. I remember some times going in on a Saturday with him and watching cartoons while he did a little extra work and eating green, mint hard candies. Their sandblaster, "Hawk", used to let me set up the letters and make my own stencils. I remember the summer that they built the new shop and Dad coming home exhausted, usually wearing a sleeveless shirt and then having a PBR. He used to let me have a sip every now and then. I even worked there the summer I was 15, doing grounds work.

Mom has always been a secretary/administrative assistant of some kind. My earliest memory of Mom working was doing part time work for Mr. Ed Carrier, my soccer coach. Some times she'd bring home a bunch of letters for me help stamp, etc. She paid me to help out.
Mom also worked at (still works at) The Lincoln-Lane Foundation, where they give scholarships for local kids to go to college.
